I am a cartoonist living in Vermont (good ole' yankeedom). My main comic project at the moment is Dumpling King, and I have a day job working as a Graphic Designer. I'll also take on an illustration job from time to time. Dumpling King started as an homage to the weirdness of growing up in suburban New Jersey. It changed to include some fantastical / mythic elements that I didn't know were going to be a part of the story, but that I really like. You can see more of Dumpling King here and here.
I received an MFA from the Center for Cartoon Studies in 2008. For undergrad, I attended the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at the Cooper Union in New York, earning a B. Arch in 2002.
I was awarded a Xeric Grant in 2008 for Wall City, my thesis project at the Center for Cartoon Studies.
